The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau will launch an electronic system to submit applications for coverage through the state's assigned risk plan on Sept. 8.
The bureau said it will not accept any paper applications for the Workers' Compensation Insurance Plan that are postmarked after Sept. 5. If an application is submitted using the current electronic system, the completed application must be filed and a fully executed authorization for release of funds and certification must be faxed to the bureau by midnight on Sept. 7.
