ICA Clarifies Fee Schedule Code for Completing Forms

The Industrial Commission of Arizona has revised the description of a billing code to clarify the conditions under which providers can be reimbursed for completing certain workers’ compensation forms. When the ICA adopted a new fee schedule set on Medicare’s Resource-Based Relative Value Scale effective Oct. 1., it added a state-specific code allowing a $40 payment for filling out certain forms, including a return-to-work report, that require more information than what is included on a standard reporting form.
