A split jury awarded $56,000 in damages to the foreman of an excavation crew who was fired after he reported safety violations at a Northern Idaho road project, according to the Bonner County Daily Bee.The jury voted 9-3 in favor of claims by Hay Nelson that he was wrongfully terminated by Parsons RCI, the lead contractor on the Sand Creek Byway rerouting project.
