Medical Quality Audits Will Look at Opioid Prescribing, Referrals for Testing

Texas regulators will take a close look at the opioid prescribing practices of medical providers, as well as the appropriateness of their referrals for testing, under the medical quality review annual audit finalized by the Division of Workers’ Compensation on Thursday.
