A bill that would authorize payments to injured workers by direct deposit will have another shot at approval in the New Hampshire legislature.
Senate Bill 84 originally would have provided an option for workers’ compensation payments to be made by direct deposit, but the Senate Commerce Committee decided to remove a requirement that employers making electronic payments must also offer a paycheck as an alternative.
