Attorney in Critical Condition after Stabbing at L.A. WCAB

By Greg Griggs, EditorA 60-year-old attorney attending a lien settlement event in downtown Los Angeles was in critical condition late Thursday after being stabbed in the back with a nine-inch kitchen knife.Andre A. Torres, a 38-year-old Los Angeles resident, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), which provides security under contract to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board.
