Oil Field Contractor Honored for 'Exemplary' Workplace Safety

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation has recognized Chaparral Industries for “exemplary” workplace safety programs, and low rates of work-related injuries and illnesses at its Odessa facility. Agency Director of Workplace Safety Karen Puckett presented the company with the Lone Star Safety Program Award, a designation for Texas employers with safety programs that can serve as models for other employers.
