Court Publishes Ruling Limiting Public Employer's Ability to Assert Subrogation Claims

The Commonwealth Court this week ordered publication of its prior decision that held that a self-insured municipality’s decision to pay medical benefits to an injured police officer from its workers’ compensation fund did not entitle the municipality to a subrogation lien against the officer’s third-party recovery.
