OSHA Fines Outdoor Advertising Firm $54,500 for Alleged Fall Hazards

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced a total of $54,500 in fines to nationwide advertising company CBS Outdoor for allegedly exposing employees to fall hazards at locations in Georgia and Massachusetts.OSHA reported agency inspectors observed CBS Outdor employees working without fall protection on billboards in Avondale Estates, Ga., and Braintree, Mass., in November, with the workers allegedly exposed to potentially fatal falls of up to 22 feet.The company was issued a repeat citation with a fine of $25,000 for allegedly allowing employees to be exposed to fall hazards ...
