DWC Opens Comment Period on Pharmaceutical Fee Schedule Revision

Medi-Cal is in the midst of adopting a new formula for determining maximum prices for pharmaceuticals, and under state law, the California Division of Workers’ Compensation must follow that lead. The DWC is hoping to hear feedback from stakeholders before it officially drafts regulations to move from a pharmaceutical fee schedule that now sets maximum drug prices at 83% of the Average Wholesale Price.
