Dollar General, a billion-dollar company with discount stores all over the United States, has netted more than 100 federal safety violations since 2010, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said.
The latest round of violations came from a Van Buren store that failed to keep exits clear.
"In an emergency, every second matters. Neither workers nor customers should have to fight through way through piles of merchandise to exit a building safely," said Bill McDonald, OSHA's area director in St. Louis, in a statement.
