A Pennsauken roofer was charged Monday with committing insurance fraud by allegedly providing false payroll information to reduce his workers’ compensation premiums.
Oneill Medina, 36, the owner of Deptford-based Maxi-Tech Inc., is scheduled for a first appearance in Gloucester County Superior Court on Nov. 2.
The Gloucester prosecutor said Medina’s workers’ compensation policy with New Jersey Manufacturers in 2015 and 2016 insured one roofer, one carpenter and two salesmen when eight to 10 roofers were working for Maxi-Tech at any given time during the two-year period.
