The House will vote on two Senate bills Tuesday, including one that would give the commissioner of workers’ compensation additional factors to consider when levying penalties for technical violations.
SB 1895, which the Senate passed 31-0 on April 26, would amend the Labor Code to require the commissioner in assessing an administrative penalty to consider whether the violation has a negative impact on the delivery of benefits to an injured worker.
