C. V. Starr, an insurance brokerage controlled by former American International Group Chairman Maurice "Hank" Greenberg, filed the latest legal volley in its ongoing battle with one of the world's largest insurers Monday saying AIG employees plotted to "systematically destroy" Starr's business.
A lawsuit filed in the Manhattan district of the New York Supreme Court alleges three former Starr executives and 100 unnamed AIG employees plotted to obtain confidential and proprietary information in a bid to discredit the agency's business in the marketplace, according to news reports.
