Business Group Plans Survey on Comp Issues

The Texas Association will survey its members later this year on how they view the state's workers' compensation system and how to improve it. TAB spokeswoman Cathy DeWitt said she will begin developing the survey in September. It should be sent to association members around the end of the year. DeWitt plans to meet with legislators and staff members who are particularly interested in workers' compensation issues to determine what information may be useful to them in making changes to the system in the 2009 legislative session.
