High Court Denies Challenge to 1st DCA's Authority

The Florida Supreme Court summarily rejected what attorneys say is the first challenge in recent memory to a 1979 reorganization that assigned all appeals of workers' compensation cases cases to the 1st District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee. The Supreme Court did not issue a formal opinion, in keeping with a series of recent orders that has kept the high court out of workers' compensation debates.
