Southern California chiropractor Michael E. Barri, who pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in 2016 for receiving $150,000 in kickbacks by referring patients to Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, was sentenced to 366 days in federal prison.
U.S. District Court Judge Josephine Staton on Friday ordered Barri to turn himself in to start serving his sentence by July 9 and recommended he be allowed to serve his sentence in Lompoc.
