Senate Bill Would Cap WC Attorney Fees, Make Other Changes

Legislation designed to correct statutes that were struck down by court rulings three years ago has passed a key Senate committee and may go to a floor vote next week. The Senate Judiciary Committee this week approved SB 1340, which is sponsored by the committee chairman, state Sen. Anthony Sykes. It removes a number of provisions that were in HB 3277, which passed the full House last month.
