Florida Coalition Presents Comp Reform Proposal

Yesterday a Florida coalition of business and insurance interests presented a workers' compensation reform package to the Governor's Commission. Picking up where it left off last year, the coalition of business and insurance has proposed a workers' comp reform package that would eliminate hourly claimant attorneys' fees, reduce the number of exemptions, and redistribute claimant benefits to decrease the number of permanent and total claims.
