Few of the small businesses polled in September 2002 said that they had dropped their business insurance coverage altogether, despite rising premiums costing, on the median, up to seven percent of their gross sales. That's according to the recently released "Business Insurance" study, the latest National Small Business Poll from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and Wells Fargo. The poll examines the reliance business owners place on their business insurance to protect them against unforeseen losses.
