Trenching Fatality Brings $103,600 in Penalties

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth announced the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) issued citations with $103,600 in proposed penalties against Maco Concrete of St. Clair Shores for allegedly failing to adequately protect employees from trenching and excavation hazards which resulted in a fatal accident.
