The Washington state Senate passed an amended bill creating a presumption of compensability for certain diseases contracted by workers at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Hanford nuclear site that added a new covered condition, and would require the Department of Labor and Industries to report on the number of workers’ compensation claims based on the presumption.
