DWC Sets Program on Medical Disputes for Weslaco Aug. 30

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation's Weslaco field office will host a "brown bag" educational session titled, "New Rules on Medical Dispute Resolution" on Aug. 30.The free session is set for noon to 1 p.m. at the field office at 1108 Weslaco Pike Blvd.The DWC reports the session is intended for all Texas workers’ compensation participants, including injured employees, health care providers, insurance carriers, claims adjusters and attorneys.The session will cover new DWC rules and processes for medical fee and medical necessity dispute resolution, including a new benefit...
