The California Assembly Appropriations Committee unanimously passed a bill that would specify criteria that doctors must consider when determining impairment resulting from occupational breast cancer.
The Appropriations Committee on Thursday voted 17-0 to pass AB 479, by Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher, D-San Diego. The measure can now be voted on by the full Assembly.
