Pinnacol Surplus Grows 10.3% to $935.3 Million

Colorado’s state chartered workers’ compensation carrier Pinnacol Assurance ended 2015 with a policyholder surplus of $935.3 million, according to its latest annual report released Tuesday. The carrier grew its surplus by 10.3% from $848 million at the end of 2014 as its net underwriting gain increased to $86.8 million from $6.2 million.
