Commission Chairman Gets New Law Clerk

Industrial Commission Chairman Charlton Allen has a new law clerk to advise him and handle legal correspondence, the commission announced.

Ashley Moore joined the commission in 2015 and previously was law clerk to former Commissioner Linda Cheatham. Moore earned her law degree from North Carolina Central University.

Allen requests that all motions, correspondence and updates be sent to Moore at ashley.moore@ic.nc.gov.

The Industrial Commission will also meet today to discuss new rules for opioid utilization and other issues, the agenda shows. The meeting will be at 3 p.m. in the commission Law Library, Room 6037 of the Dobbs Building, Raleigh.
