The Hawaii House of Representatives passed a pair of bills intended to give injured workers more control over independent medical examinations, as well as a measure that would require contractors to provide proof of workers’ compensation coverage, ahead of a key deadline.
Two bills that would have mandated coverage for medical cannabis are stuck in committee and appear dead as Thursday’s deadline to pass bills out of the house of origin approaches.
