A bill permitting claimants to record and bring a chaperone to employer-ordered medical exams for the next two years is on its way to the governor's desk.
Senate Bill 859 was sent to Gov. David Ige's desk on May 4. The governor has not yet signed the measure, according to the Hawaii State Legislature's bill-tracking website.
