The Connecticut Interlocal Risk Management Agency, a workers’ compensation insurance pool, saw a decrease in the frequency and severity of claims in 2014-15, according to the agency’s annual report.
In 2014-15, CIRMA’s workers’ compensation pool had 6,526 claims with a total cost of $29.7 million. That’s compared to 6,650 claims with a total cost of $35.3 million in 2013-14.
