AIF Opposes Medical Marijuana Measure, Citing Impact on Comp

The Associated Industries of Florida has announced that it’s opposing Amendment 2, a ballot measure seeking to legalize the use of medical marijuana, in part because of its potential impact on workers’ compensation laws. AIF President and CEO Tom Feeney said in a release Monday that the group was opposing the amendment because of both known and unknown complications it would levy on Florida businesses.
