The employer of an allegedly illegal worker who is appealing the dismissal of his Fair Employment and Housing Act to the California Supreme Court is maintaining its stance that the worker's use of a counterfeit Social Security number should bar his action, as the 3rd District Court of Appeal has ruled. In a brief filed on Friday on behalf of the Sierra Chemical Co., attorney Arnold Wolf wrote that "there are good reasons to apply overtime, workplace safety, non-discrimination and other rules and regulations for the benefit of even those whose employment constitutes a violation of law," but...
