A federal appellate court ruled that an injured government employee with a history of compensable back injuries failed to prove he had suffered discrimination when he returned from a leave of absence. Case: Center v. Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, No. 17-14961, 07/19/2018, published. Facts: Charles Center suffered a back injury in 1999 while working for the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
