A group of 53 former professional wrestlers on Monday hit World Wrestling Entertainment with a lawsuit seeking damages for their alleged neurological injuries from their performing days.
In a 214-page complaint filed in the U.D. District Court for Connecticut, the WWE performers allege they were never warned that "wrestling moves and maneuvers that are performed 'correctly'" could still produce brain trauma, or that they could sustain neurological injuries "by simply participating in WWE matches."
