Comp Court Posts Official Version of Amended Procedural Rules

The Montana Workers’ Compensation Court posted an official version of revised procedural rules that went into effect on March 15. In February, the court adopted new rules relating to pretrial identification of witnesses and exhibits, and the withdrawal of attorneys. The new rule for attorney removal formalizes practices already in place, according to a February rule-making notice. The other new regulation requires that witnesses be listed along with the subject they’re testifying on, and also mandates that parties file exhibits listed by date, author and the number of pages.
