Continuing Education Credits Available at Educational Conference

The Nevada Workers’ Compensation Section announced that people can earn continuing education credits by attending its annual educational conference next month.

Continuing education credits available during the eighth annual Nevada Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference include:

• Ten hours for attorneys, including one hour of ethics.
• Ten general hours for rehabilitation professionals.
• Nine property and casualty hours, and one hour for insurance producers.
• Ten professional development credit hours for human resource professionals.

The educational conference will feature sessions exploring large-deductible policies, vocational rehabilitation and worker misclassification. The conference is Aug. 23-24 at the Tuscany Suites Hotel, 255 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas.
