A Tampa-area physician who pleaded guilty to running a pill mill was sentenced to 45 months in federal prison for illegally prescribing oxycodone, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida said Wednesday.
U.S. District Judge Charlene Honeywell ordered Dr. Anil Sahijwani, 43, to forfeit his Drug Enforcement Administration license as well as $182,267 and the value of his Porsche, all of which were proceeds of his offenses, prosecutors said.
