Tuesday's Switch to PDF Forms Postponed

A plan by the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission to make it easier to view documents online has been postponed until further notice.  

The commission's web-enabled forms management system was set to switch over to a simpler PDF system Tuesday. The commission said in a bulletin Tuesday that it will provide more information in coming days.

Subscribers to the system can file forms, obtain claim information and view claim documents. Each service is customized and secured by the subscriber's role, and party or non-party, in a workers' compensation claim, the commission's website explains. Health care providers have no online form access now.

Once issues are resolved, the new format "will make it easier for you to manage electronic versions of Workers' Compensation Commission documents and should not be affected by future web browser changes or updates," the commission said Monday.
