Study: Collaborative Approach Helps Speed Return to Work

A program in which doctors team up with injured workers and their employers to develop a return-to-work program has shown success in Ontario, Canada, according to a study published this month. Similar approaches are being used in the U.S. The study appears in the February edition of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The authors are with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board in Ontario.
