WCC to Review Electronic Service Rule

The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission (WCC) will meet today to review its rules for notification of electronic service and to receive monthly reports from the commission's departments.WCC Executive Director Gary Cannon will present copies of the federal local rule for electronic case filings established by the U.S. District Court of South Carolina.Keith Roberts, the commission's law clerk, said in a letter to Cannon last Friday that WCC currently does not have a rule to determine when service of electronic documents is complete.
