Bureau of Workers' Compensation Finalizes Three Rule Changes

The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has finalized revisions to three rules that deal with payment for outpatient medication, payment for outpatient medication by a self-insuring employer, and the state’s Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Rule 4123-6-21 was revised to remove language that specifically references the First Data Bank proprietary drug classification system generic code number in the context of limiting payment of dispensing fees.
