Robert Indvik, chairman of the North Dakota's workers' compensation agency's board, has resigned effective immediately, the Associated Press reported Tuesday.
Indvik sent a letter Monday to Gov. John Hoeven announcing his decision.
Indvik, the Bottineau County road superintendent, has been under investigation for alleged misuse of Bottineau County property in his role as chairman of Workforce Safety and Insurance (WSI), AP reported. Indvik allegedly used his county cell phone and vehicle for WSI business without reimbursing the county.
