WCD Proposes Changes to Coverage, Assessment and Employer-at-Injury Rules

Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Division announced a package of proposed rule changes that would alter the basis for premium assessments on self-insured employers, clarify the definition of a home health worker and increase wage subsidy reimbursement through the Employer-at-Injury Program. The division said minor wording changes proposed for the Employer/Insurer Coverage Responsibility rules in OAR 436-050 would make the regulations clearer.
