The Commonwealth Court this week upheld a decision of a workers’ compensation judge to simultaneously grant a worker’s petition to modify the description of her compensable condition, and terminate her benefits.
Josepha Saint-Val worked for the Mercy Health System doing data entry. She injured her left hand while at work in May 2015.
Mercy issued a notice of temporary compensation payable, which described her injury as a wrist sprain. The notice was later converted into a notice of compensation payable.
