DWC to Stop Accepting Late Attorney Fee Approval Motions

Workers' compensation attorneys who want their fees approved more than 30 days after a claim closes in Kentucky will soon be out of luck. Once a settlement is reached, attorneys have 30 days to file a motion for attorney fee approval with the Kentucky Division of Workers' Compensation.
