Qmedtrix Files Notice to Transfer Repricing Lawsuit to Federal Court

Qmedtrix, a Portland, Ore., bill-review firm, on Friday filed a notice of removal to transfer a lawsuit over repricing of outpatient medical bills from a Louisiana court to federal court.The Qmedrix notice of removal will transfer the lawsuit from the Louisiana 27th Judicial District to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The federal court can accept the case or remand to the state court. Qmedtrix contends that the lawsuit meets all requirements to transfer it to the jurisdiction of the federal court.
