OSHA Sues Demolition Firm for Allegedly Retaliating Against a Worker for Reporting Safety Violations

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has sued a demolition firm for firing an employee after he allegedly raised safety concerns about a worksite. The worker had warned his superiors at Niagara Falls, N.Y.-based Regional Environmental Demolition Inc. multiple times in 2014 about soft spots on floors that could have resulted in workers injuring themselves, according to OSHA.
