The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has sued a demolition firm for firing an employee after he allegedly raised safety concerns about a worksite.
The worker had warned his superiors at Niagara Falls, N.Y.-based Regional Environmental Demolition Inc. multiple times in 2014 about soft spots on floors that could have resulted in workers injuring themselves, according to OSHA. At one point, his foot broke through one of those spots.
