Hoffman Case Widely Mis-Used says LA Times

The Los Angeles Times yesterday reported that employers across the nation are using the recent Supreme Court decision in Hoffman Plastic Compounds, Inc. v. NLRB (which denies back pay to an undocumented worker), to avoid workers' compensation awards. Union officials, attorneys and immigrant activists are reportedly alarmed at the swift employer response, and are distressed over the broad mis-interpretation of the ruling.
