A divided Michigan Supreme Court ruled that an injured worker has no civil remedy against his direct employer for allegedly pressing him to pose as an independent contractor. Case: McQueer v. Perfect Fence Co., No. 153829, 07/10/2018, published. Facts: David McQueer worked intermittently as a laborer for the Perfect Fence Co.
