A maid with a compensable ankle injury who developed a painful condition called reflex sympathetic disorder has sued a case manager with the former West Virginia state fund.
Claimant Kathy Egnor sued Shirley Armstead, an employee with the former Workers' Compensation Commission.
Egnor filed her lawsuit last month in Kanawha Circuit Court, the West Virginia Record reported this week.
Egnor injured her ankle while working as a maid for Uptowner Inns Inc. in February 2003. Her injury was ruled compensable.
