A Southern California man who was awarded workers' compensation benefits for injuries sustained in an alleged robbery was charged with fraud and filing a false police report after an investigation revealed the robbery was an attempt to cover for losing company money, according to the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office.Russell Tate Allen McKinnon, 32, told the Ontario Police Department he was robbed and assaulted by an individual with a knife Dec. 10, 2010, while working at Nutrition Zone.
